Bhagwan Vishwakarma is remembered on the day of Vishwakarma Puja. The occasion is also known as Vishwakarma Jayanti. About Bhagwan Vishwakarma
Bhagwan Vishwakarma is considered the divine engineer and the principal architect of the Universe. Hindus consider him a God and believe that He is a divine architect of the Universe. He is the chief deity of all architects and engineers. He is believed to have constructed the holy city of Dwarka, the capital of Lord Krishna’s kingdom. How to Perform Vishwakarma Puja?

The Puja Muhurat
You must consult with your priest about Puja Muhurat. You must ensure that all the preparations are done before the Puja Muhurat so that puja and celebrations can proceed without any hindrance. You must announce the puja timings to your workers and ensure they are present before the puja starts.

Post Procedures
Lord Vishwakarma’s idol should be kept overnight, along with the things used during the puja. An “Akhand Diya” is lit beside the idol or image of Lord Vishwakarma. Visarjan Ceremony is performed on the next day, and all the puja items are immersed in a nearby water body.

Vishwakarma Puja is performed on the last day of the Bengali month Bhadra. The day is popularly known as Bhadra Sankranti or Kanya Sankranti. The puja calculations are done in accordance with “Bisuddhasidhanta.” Usually, Vishwakarma Puja is held on 17th September every year some years it is celebrated on 16th September.
